First, Apolat Legal would like to thank you for your trust over the past year. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2023, Apolat Legal would like to wish you a happy – wealthy – good healthy new year.
In 2022, with the context of the global economy not yet fully recovered from Covid-19 epidemic, some difficulties such as inflation, and geopolitical tensions between countries, made 2022 a challenging year for Vietnam’s economy in particular and the global economy in general. However, with clients’ trust, Apolat Legal consistently assists and goes along with clients to solve complicated legal issues and handle legal risks at an affordable cost.
Despite encountering numerous difficulties in 2022 but thanks to the relentless efforts of Apolat’s staff, Apolat Legal has achieved many outstanding achievements in the year, specifically:
- Apolat Legal has exceeded the target in 2022, thereby, continuing to grow in service quality, scale, and client network.
- Apolat Legal has received recognition from Lexology and Asialaw as a legal influencer in the Asia-Pacific and a Notable Law Firm in M&A.
- With a strategy of concentrating on core practices and orienting to change and continual improvement to deliver better, more effective, faster, and more comprehensive service, specifically, Apolat Legal has: (i) continued to invest in research and technology application in operation and service provision; (ii) continued to invest in human resources through recruiting more qualified personnel (iii) domestic and international exchanged and cooperated through Apolat Legal becoming a member of the Vietnam Business Lawyers Club (VBLC); and welcomed the Singapore Bar Association Delegation to visit Vietnam, with the aim of sharing, and cultivating more experience and expertise, aiming to improve service quality according to international standards.
- The Hanoi office has been relocated to a more convenient and spacious new location, and the staff is prepared to better serve the clients in Hanoi and the market in the northern provinces of Vietnam.
- Apolat Legal has always invested in and focused activities of exchange, training, sponsorship, and talent incubation for law students in institutes, universities, and research centers to create a generation of future elite lawyers. Apolat Legal has accompanied Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, Foreign Trade University, University of Economics and Law, Ton Duc Thang University, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance in many academic and career-oriented events.
- Apolat Legal has maintained cooperation with international organizations such as World Bank, Wolters Kluwer (Netherlands), The Law Reviews (United Kingdom), AsiaIPLaw (Hong Kong), Asia Business Law Journal (Hong Kong), etc., to build, develop, and publish international legal publications, reports, and research.
- Apolat Legal has organized and participated as a speaker, guest, and sponsor for dozens of seminars, webinars, forums, etc., in law, development, and policy.
The year 2023 will still be a challenging and volatile year for the global economy and Vietnam. However, with well-prepared, ready resources and a firm commitment to its vision and mission, Apolat Legal maintains its goal of becoming the leading legal partner of businesses with legal services with a commitment to integrity, understanding, and constant innovation. In 2023, Apolat Legal will continue to pursue its development strategy by enhancing and further improving the quality of legal consulting services to boost work efficiency, and more comprehensive consulting capacity but at a reasonable cost for clients
