Position Description:
Apolat Legal is looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join our team at our head office in Ho Chi Minh City. At Apolat Legal’s Hanoi office, we are also looking for a Paralegal to take part in the Litigation and Healthcare team. The position is open to candidates who are detail-oriented, organized and possess strong superior interpersonal skills. Previous experience working at a law firm is an advantage. In this role, you will be responsible for working and supporting closely with our associates and lawyers to ensure that various duties are completed to a high standard.
The recruitment for Litigation Paralegal is currently open for 01 (one) position in Ho Chi Minh and 01 (one) in Hanoi office shall be combined with Healthcare team. Below are the requirements and responsibilities associated with the role:
Responsibilities Include:
- Organising case files and managing all incoming and outcoming case communications.
- Conducting legal research on case-specific and general legal issues.
- Drafting legal advice and opinions in response to clients’ inquiries.
- Drafting and preparing petition dossiers, defense arguments, and other documents for court and arbitration proceedings.
- Assisting Partners and Associates in working with related parties and participating in dispute resolution processes at arbitration and courts.
- Performing other legal tasks assigned by Partners and Associates.
- For Hanoi position, the sucessed candidate is acceptable as a fresher in term of knowledge, skills and matters related to the Healthcare team.
Qualifications, Skills, and Expertise Required:
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following:
- A Bachelor degree in Law Major from a Vietnamese university;
- Prior experience working in courts or arbitration is preferred;
- A strong understanding of court and arbitration proceedings;
- Strong legal, critical, and analytical thinking abilities;
- Effective legal research and writing skills, including the ability to draft memos and advice in both English and Vietnamese;
- Effective verbal communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills;
- Advanced English proficiency with a minimum IELTS score of 6 overall or TOEIC (4 skills) score of 650.
- Ability to manage and follow up on multi-tasks while maintaining precise attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work extended hours when required.
- Strong adaptability and flexibility in the workplace.
Working Time:
- Full-time;
- From Monday to Friday.
