The Construction Law regulates construction activities, outlining the rights and obligations of domestic and foreign organizations, as well as individuals investing in construction and engaging in construction activities within the territory of Vietnam. On June 18, 2014, the National Assembly passed and promulgated the Construction Law of 2014, introducing several innovations compared to the Construction Law of 2003. The law includes the following parts:
– General provisions;
– Construction planning;
– Construction investment projects;
– Construction survey and construction design;
– Construction permit;
– Construction works;
– Construction investment costs and construction contracts;
– Capacity conditions for construction activities;
– Responsibility for managing construction investment activities;
– Terms of enforcement.
