Pursuant to Resolution No. 954/2020/UBTVQH14 of the National Assembly Standing Committee, effective July 1, 2020, the personal income tax (PIT) family-allowance deduction was adjusted upward.
- The deduction for the taxpayer increased from VND 9 million to VND 11 million per month (equivalent to VND 132 million per year).
- The deduction for each dependent increased from VND 3.6 million to VND 4.4 million per month.
This resolution is effective and applicable to the tax period starting from 2020.
