Apolat Legal is looking for a litigation associate to participate in our dynamic and enthusiastic team. The successful candidates will be working at Apolat Legal’s Ho Chi Minh City office. Information about the job description and requirements are as follows.
1. Position Description:

Conducting legal research and analyzing case files to resolve cases;
- Drafting legal advice and opinions in response to clients’ questions regarding disputes;
- Drafting and preparing lawsuit dossiers, defense arguments, and other procedural documents;
- Assisting Partners or independently representing clients, working with relevant parties, and participating in dispute resolution procedures at arbitration centers and courts;
- Independently managing dispute cases, including direct communication with clients, competent state authorities, and other dispute resolution bodies;
- Managing, assigning tasks to, and training junior staff;
- Performing other legal tasks as assigned by Partners and Senior Associates;

For candidates based in Hanoi: Possessing knowledge and understanding of healthcare regulations; strong consulting skills; experience in reviewing and advising on product registration dossiers; and the ability to liaise and work with relevant competent state authorities.
2. Job Requirements:
Litigation Associates need to handle multiple clients, which involves a lot of responsibilities. Here is a list of some primary responsibilities that need to be carried out by an Associate at Apolat Legal:
- A Bachelor degree in Law;
- Prior experience working in courts or arbitration is preferred;
- A strong understanding of court and arbitration proceedings;
- Excellent legal, critical, and analytical thinking abilities;
- Excellent legal research and writing skills, including the ability to draft memo sand advice in both English and Vietnamese;
- Strong verbal communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills;
- Advanced English proficiency with a minimum IELTS score of 6 overall or TOEIC (4 skills) score of 650;
- Ability to manage and follow up on multi-tasks while maintaining precise attention to detail;
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining work quality;
- Flexibility to work extended hours when required;
- Strong adaptability and flexibility in the workplace.
3. Working Time:
- Full-time.
- Monday to Friday.
