Lawyer Tran Chau Hoai Han (Counsel)
Lawyer Tran Chau Hoai Han joined Apolat Legal in April 2016 and was promoted to Associate in August 2019. Han specializes in intellectual property law, including contract review, M&A legal advice, franchising, and international trade transactions.
Lawyer Han has been actively involved in advising and supporting clients on Intellectual Property rights, covering areas such as copyright, trademarks, industrial designs, trade secrets, unfair competition, anti-counterfeiting, domain names, intellectual property commercialization, commercial franchising, and the transfer of industrial property rights. Additionally, Lawyer Han has extensive experience providing legal advice on M&A, legal retainer on corporate governance, GDPR and trading.
Lawyer Han has authored numerous publications in Saigon Times, The World Bank Group, and the Lexology.
Lawyer Thieu Thi Kieu Thu | Katherine (Counsel)
Lawyer Thieu Thi Kieu Thu joined the firm at the end of 2017 as a Paralegal. Currently, she is the head of the consulting department, responsible for providing legal retainer service to businesses. Katherine has extensive experience in consulting and training businesses on compliance issues, reviewing risks in economic contracts, advising on intellectual property rights, providing intellectual property protection and industrial property representation, and handling M&A transactions. Additionally, Katherine consults on developing labor regulations, business transaction structures, negotiation representation, and drafting and reviewing contracts in the real estate sector.
Lawyer Thu has contributed to the content of publications by The World Bank Group twice and authored numerous publications on the Lexology.
Nguyen Phuong Anh (Senior Associate)
Anh Nguyen joined the Ho Chi Minh office in February 2023 as a Senior Paralegal. Anh Nguyen holds a BA in Economic Law from Hanoi Law University and a MA in International Commercial Law from BPP University, UK.
Anh Nguyen currently supports lawyers and participates in cases involving negotiation, mediation, and court settlement of domestic and international commercial disputes. In addition to her professional work, Anh Nguyen regularly serves as a judge for academic competitions in law and assists lawyers in preparing and presenting at seminars and events on contracts, dispute resolution, and arbitration.
Nguyen Huynh Truc Thi | Trutie (Associate)
Joining Apolat Legal in April 2023, Thi Nguyen has demonstrated her skills and professionalism in various areas, supporting lawyers and associates in consulting on the establishment of domestic and foreign-invested enterprises, internal corporate compliance, and applying for work permits for foreign employees. Before joining Apolat Legal, Thi Nguyen had gained experience working in a multinational corporation in the field of construction design.
