The Law on Credit Institutions, issued on June 16, 2010, governs the establishment, organization, operation, special control, reorganization, and dissolution of credit institutions. It also covers the establishment, organization, and operation of foreign bank branches, representative offices of foreign credit institutions, and other foreign organizations engaging in banking activities.
