The Civil Procedure Code, promulgated by the National Assembly on November 25, 2015, is a legal document that regulates the order, procedures, and content for conducting events, investigations, trials, and enforcement in a court and other legal relations calmly during the process of resolving civil matters. It consists of the following parts:

– Procedures for resolving cases at the Court of First Instance;
– Procedures for resolving cases at the Court of Appeal;
– Resolving civil cases according to simplified procedures;
– Procedures for reviewing legally effective judgments and decisions;
– Procedures for resolving civil matters;
– Procedures for recognition and enforcement in Vietnam or non-recognition of civil judgments and decisions of foreign courts; recognize and enforce foreign arbitral awards;
– Procedures for resolving civil cases involving foreign elements;
– Execution of civil judgments and decisions of the Court;
– Handling acts that obstruct proceedings, complaints and denunciations in proceedings.
