The Law on Customs 2014 (Law No. 54/2014/QH13), passed by the National Assembly on June 23, 2014 and effective from January 1, 2015, provides for state management of customs with respect to exported, imported, and transited goods, as well as means of transport exiting, entering, and transiting the customs territory, applicable to both domestic and foreign organizations and individuals. It also provides for the organization and operation of customs authorities.
