Decree No. 13/2020/ND-CP, issued by the Government on January 21, 2020 and effective from March 15, 2020, provides detailed regulations on the implementation of the 2018 Law on Animal Husbandry. The Decree sets out specific provisions on conditional livestock farming, support policies for livestock development, management of animal breeds, animal feed, livestock waste, disease control, and veterinary hygiene requirements in livestock activities. It also defines the responsibilities of relevant ministries, sectors, and local authorities in the state management of animal husbandry.
